Tax in Ireland

In Ireland, there are two tax deductions that typically apply, PRSI and PAYE. The tax rates are as follows:

2015, 2016 and 2017
20% 40%
Single person 33800 Balance
Married couple/civil partners, one income 42800 Balance
Married couple/civil partners, two incomes Up to €67,600 Balance
(increase limited to the amount of the
second income – see example below)
One parent family 37800 Balance

Salaries in Ireland
