Agency Staff Nurse for Navan, Co. Meath

Cpl Healthcare is currently sourcing Agency Nurse for work in Louth Meath Disability Services 

Information:

• RGN required to cover 4-5 shifts a week for a three month period in the Special Care Unit Johnstown, Navan, Co. Meath

• The Nurse for the Special Care Unit (SCU) can be RNID trained with experience of working with children or RGN/ Paediatric trained.

• The main role is supporting the child with life limiting conditions to attend education

• During the school day the nurse will support the children with medication management, epilepsy management some children have VNS magnets in use, buccal administration, Enteral Feeding- PEG, JEG, NG, Oxygen therapy, oral suctioning, conditions such as insulin dependent diabetes, cardiac conditions etc., daily personal care, facilitating physio and OT programmes, skin care management & on occasions palliative care needs.

• Shift pattern is 08.30-15.30 Mon to Friday.

Requirements:

• Must be registered with NMBI
• Be living in and eligible to work in Ireland
