Assistant Director of Nursing, Cork

Description:

Cpl Healthcare is seeking applications for the role of Assistant Director of Nursing for a large nursing home in Cork city. 

This is a new role within an expanding team and the successful candidate will be a key partner to the Director of Nursing. You will have direct responsibility for the team of Clinical Nurse Managers and nursing staff, ensuring the provision of clinical and professional leadership of the care team in delivery of direct resident care.

To be considered eligible for the role the following criteria apply:

  • A registered General Nurse on the Register of Nurses held by Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
  • Have a minimum of three years’ experience nursing older people in the last six years and 3 years nursing management experience
  • A post registration management qualification in health or a related field.
  • Evidence of continuous professional development.
  • Post Graduate Diploma in Gerontology desirable
  • Post registration qualification in nursing people with dementia desirable
  • Eligibility to work in Ireland
