CPL are delighted to be working with one of Irelands leading providers of High-Quality Nursing Homes and Homecare Services.

Passionate in their provision of exceptional care to all residents in warm, welcoming, and vibrant atmospheres, they are currently seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to join their Wicklow based team. 

Responsibilities of the Role

-         To ensure the consistent development of caregiving and care-management in a cost effective and resident centered manner in accordance with research and best practice.

-         To provide line management and development of clinical nursing teams.

-         To provide leadership and support to the clinical team, empowering team members to be effective in their roles ensuring efficient running of the homes.

-         To interact with residents ensuring their health care needs are met and resolve any issues where appropriate.

-         Undertaking nursing duties where necessary and appropriate.

-         To ensure the accurate and up-to-date auditing of care plan documentation.

Requirements of the Role:

-       B registered in the General Division of the NMBI live register.

-       Minimum 6 years post graduate experience in nursing, with minimum 3 years’ experience in the nursing of older persons.

-       Have previous management experience, preferably at CNM Grade 2 level.

-       Have a qualification in management (desirable).

-       Have a high quality of interest and knowledge in the care of older persons.

-       Have excellent communication skills.
