               Cpl Healthcare is sourcing  Agency Nurses to work in the Cardiac Cath Lab for its Client in Dublin 8   

Cardiac nurses are highly specialized nursing staff who have additional acquired knowledge in the field of cardiology. Nurses of this sort are based in outpatient cardiology departments, intensive care units, coronary care units, cardiac catheterization labs, operating theatres and surgical wards

In cardiac catheterization labs registered nurses help diagnose heart disease. Their roles include assisting doctors in the preparation of patients for and in the performance of interventional procedures, including cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, valvuloplasty, and implantation of pacemakers and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators. Cardiac Cath lab nurses must have an advanced understanding of cardiac anatomy so duties can be carried out quickly and correctly

This role will be ongoing, Monday to Friday and the times can be flexible 0700-1400 or 0800-1700

The client will look at all options and will consider nurses who have experience in CCU, Theatre Cardio Thoracic or Surgical Wards
