Seeking applications from experienced psychiatric clinical nurse managers for approved mental health service, South Dublin. This is a full-time night duty role.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Clinical Nurse Manager to lead a team of Registered Nurses and Healthcare Assistants and to play an integral and active role in a committed Multidisciplinary Team to make a significant contribution in the area of psychiatric nurse management.

Based in South Dublin the successful applicant will be part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team providing care in an exciting and developing healthcare environment, with defined career development pathways.  

Interested applicants must : 

  • Be registered in the psychiatric division of the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
  • Possess 5 years post registration nursing experience consisting of at least 2 years’ experience working in a mental health setting
  • Possess the requisite knowledge and ability including a high standard of suitability and clinical, managerial and administrative competencies.
  • Possess an in-depth knowledge of the Mental Health Commission requirements, leadership and governance 
  • Strong organisational/team skills
  • Excellent communication skills with fluent English
  • Eligibility to work in Ireland
