Clinical Nurse Manager-theatre-Cork

Cpl Healthcare, in association with their client, are seeking an experienced theatre nurse manager to join the team within an acute hospital setting in Cork City. The CNM1 will have multiple responsibilities including:

  • Ensuring the enhancement  and maintenance of high standards of patient care
  • Leading with an empowering and enabling leadership Style
  • Setting and monitoring performance standards.
  • Using a proactive approach to planning.
  • The effective co-ordination of resources

 Interested Applicants must meet the following selection criteria

  • Registered in the general division of the live register of nurses maintained by the NMBI
  • Hold a management qualification
  • Degree in nursing desirable
  • 3 years’ post graduate experience at a minimum with sigmificant theatre nursing experience in an acute hospital setting. 
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Experience in preceptorship, teaching and assessment of students highly desirable
  • Be able to demonstrate initiative, flexibility and innovation in past employments
  • Be able to demonstrate strong communication and IT Skills
  • Previous change Management experience desirable
  • Adaptation is not an option
