Cpl Healthcare in partnership with our client is recruiting an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist in Occupational Health for a position in the south of Dublin with excellent links to the M50. This position is 18.75 hours per week.
The main responsibilities of this role includes,
- Clinical focus (Direct & Indirect Care)
- Wellbeing Advocacy
- Education and training
- Audit and research
- Provide the delivery of a programme of effective OH care for all hospital employees.
- Coordinate and lead on OH programme.
- Manage, record and report on vaccination programmes for employees, including planning and co ordinating immunisations programmes for employees.
- Carry out health assessments of employees to ascertain their fitness, advice on adaptations and to identify higher risk individuals and those who will be working with occupational hazards
- Provide immunization programmes innovative and identify new areas of health assessment
- Provide ongoing health assessment services to employees, including screening and follow up
- Manage nurse led OH clinics and referrals to OH medical services as appropriate.
Interested candidates are required to have
- Full NMBI registration
- Have successfully completed a post registration programme of study in Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI), National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ) major academic Level 8 award, or higher relevant to the specialist area of IPC prior to application.
- OR / Can provide written evidence from higher education institute that they have achieved the number of ECTS credits equivalent to a Level 8 award or higher standard, relevant to the specialist area of IPC.
- Have a minimum of 5 years post registration full time experience
- Have a minimum of 1 years’ full-time experience (or an aggregate of 1 years full time experience) in specialist area of Occupational Health
REMUNERATION: Clinical Nurse Specialist full time gross salary scale €59,070 - €69,834 as of 01st June 2024
HOURS: 18.75 hours per week, exclusive of unpaid rest breaks and hybrid working arrangements are available.
