Cpl Healthcare is looking for for a RGN x 2 with Paediatric or ICU background
Pay rates is €30.00 per hour.
Provision of Homecare Services for a Child with Complex Care Needs:
- 7 nights nursing care 23.00 to 7am (8hrs) by competent RGN with ICU or Paediatric experience.
- Lucan area close to bus routes
- 8 year old girl lives with her family. Her diagnosis lysosomal Denergative Disease CLCN6 & Epilepsy. Disease process characterised by constant seizure activity, excessive secretions, requires suctioning CPAP at night.
- On review of medical condition she requires a competent person to review and manage airway, suctioning and repositioning, CPAP at night & to manage and monitor seizure activity and if necessary intervention with medication management following a drug treatment plan.
Nurses must demonstrate that they have the desired competencies to care for the specific child for example.
- Medication Management
- Seizure management
- Management of CPAP Ventilation
- Management of PEG feeding
- Nebulizer management
- Pain management
- Care of child with disability
- Care of palliative care child
- Management of complex airway
