Counsellors required for - Addiction/Substance MisuseHelpline, Dublin

Cpl Healthcare in partnership with the HSE The Addiction Services are seeking a number of part time Counsellors to work in the Drugs and Alcohol Helpline.

This role will be based on site in Dublin 10 Call centre

The duties of the role include:

Provide phone and digital support (through email, chat etc) to clients who use the Drugs and Alcohol Helpline and /or the HIV and Sexual Health Helpline.
Provide service users with an appropriate level of information to enable them to make informed choices, appropriate to their own needs
To maintain a professional stance without advertising personal views, opinions or beliefs.
To work as a member of a team
Develop and maintain close liaison with team members and specialist services to ensure an integrated/holistic service for service users.

The role will be based in Dublin 10 and will involve working 22 hours per week

Interested candidates should hold:
A recognised qualification as an Addiction Counsellor and professional registration along with a minimum of 1-2 years post graduate experience within addiction.
Membership and accreditation with the Addiction Counsellor of Ireland or equivalent (IACP/ IAHIP etc) is essential.
