Key-Worker/ Social Care Worker

Full Time // Ballyporeen, County Tipperary, Republic of IrelandSalary: €36500 - €36500


Cpl Healthcare are currently seeking a social care professional to join a service providing residential care to vulnerable young people. This will be a key-worker post which will involve assisting young people in the development and implementation of care programs and occupational pursuits, supporting their development in both personal and social skills, to be actively involved in the day to day running of the homes and the farm including participation in cooking and domestic tasks, basic animal husbandry, undertaking administrative tasks in connection with the daily recording of accurate and concise notes and reports in respect of the young people, attending community meetings, planning meetings, reviews and child protection meetings as required.


  • Minimum level 7 in social care or applied social studies
  • Irish driving license (Full)
  • Experience working with vulnerable young people
  • Experience implementing care-plans
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Working knowledge on HIQA and Child Protection legislation
