Description:

Cpl Healthcare, in association with their esteemed client, have an immediate requirement for Mental Health or Psychiatric Nurses in South Dublin area. This acute psychiatric hospital is one of the leading European providers in mental health treatment services, providing generic and specialist in-patient assessment and treatment to patients referred from across the country. The Hospital currently provides specialist services for adults with psychotic disorders, addictions or other types of disorders. 

The successful applicant will become part of a team that strives to facilitate the maximum developement of mental health of the individual and to promote psychiatric nursing within a great philosophy.

Requirements: 

  • Possess full registration on the psychiatric register of the NMBI
  • Min. 1 year experience as a Psychiatric or Mental Health Nurse desirable
  • Ability to lead the change process, from problem recognition to change implementation and evaluation.

  • Ability to co-ordinate and motivate self and others in service delivery.
  • Ability to form effective interpersonal relationships which are sensitive to the diversity of personnel with whom you work.
  • Ability to provide patients with both group and individualized nursing care, to represent and negotiate on behalf of the team.
  • Demonstrates initiative, responsability, flexibility, organisation and is a team player.
  • Good computer skills including use of electronic patient records, databases word, powerpoint.
