Occupational Health Nurse, Cork

Full Time // CorkSalary: €55000 - €55000


Cpl Healthcare in association with our client a well-known organisation in the food and beverage industry seek to recruit an experienced Occupational Health Nurse. 

Role Summary:

  • Medical professional will work closely with HR, H&S and Operations
  • Perform health assessments as part of the recruitment process (pre-employment medical examination and screening)
  • Work closely with the HR/Recruitment team
  • Develop and co-ordinate occupational health standards and policies
  • Work with the business to help manage long term absenteeism due to illness and work-related injuries, including rehabilitation and return to work processes
  • Liaise with the Health and Safety team in relation to accidents in the workplace
  • Co-Ordination of First Aid practices/training in conjunction with the Environmental Health and Safety team.
  • Assist with the management of absenteeism including Long Term Absence
  • Development and delivery of Health Promotion initiatives to promote employee wellbeing in the workplace


The Candidate:

  • Candidates must be currently registered on the General Division of the Register of Nurses
  • Must possess Occupational Health Nurse qualification.
  • Have at least 3 years of post-registration experience in an Occupational Health Setting, including health screening
  • Have good organisational and administrative skills and an ability to prioritise work load and meet deadlines
  • Certificate of Competence in Workplace Noise Monitoring (Advantageous)
