CPL Healthcare in partnership with a leading public hospital based in Melbourne Victoria Australia are seeking to hire AHPRA eligible nurses for roles in their acute Adolescents and Paediatrics unit

Our client’s hospital is a 454-bed public hospital located in Melbourne Victoria, these vacancies are within their 15-bed acute adolescent and Pediatric unit, covering care for babies, children & adolescents with surgical and medical conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Recognise, respond, and escalate changes in the patient’s condition
• Undertake patient assessments in a timely manner while maintaining patient records documentation all observations and care provided.
• Liaise and communicate with carers involving them in decision making processes.
• Maintain an orderly environment to assist in the smooth running of the unit while demonstrating an on-going professional development
• Assist in the achievement of Key Performance Indicators within the resources provided.
• Comply with relevant legislation, organisational policies, and clinical practice guidelines.

Essential Criteria

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Or diploma in Nursing.
• Have AHPRA registration or eligible for APHRA registration.
• Two years’ experience in Paediatric Nursing
• Strong communication skills.
• Victorian Employee Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain.
