Pharmacy Technician – Derrinturn, Co. Kildare

Description:

Cpl Healthcare are currently accepting applications on behalf of their client for a qualified Pharmacy Technician to work as part of a busy community pharmacy team in Derrinturn, Co Kildare.

This opportunity will be offered on a permanent contract and the successful applicant would be expected to work 40 hours per week.

The position will be based 5 minutes drive from Edenderry

The 40 hours would consist of 5 days a week 9am to 6pm with some Saturdays included.

Core Responsibilities

  • Assisting the Pharmacist with general dispensing responsibilities.
  • Preparing prescriptions
  • Work as part of a team
  • Handle patient queries and phone calls appropriately and effectively
  • Liaising with GP’s and other healthcare professionals
  • Stock control and ordering / Liaising with other branches re stock
  • Maintain the dispensary cleanliness

Specific Requirements

  • A Pharmacy Technician Qualification is required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Have experience using the McLernons MPS system
  • Strong patient focus
