Key Requirements:

  • BSc Radiography or its equivalent
  • CORU registered or in the process of registration
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in angiography Cath Lab, CT or MRI


Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake examinations as required, providing a high quality of service
  • Part take in on-call service as required
  • Ensure that the principles of radiation protection, namely justification, optimum and dose constraints are adhered to
  • To be familiar with S.I 189 of 1988, S.I 43 of 1991 an S.I 125 of 2000
  • Adhere to safety standards and protocol
  • Part-take in routine inspection of equipment and quality assurance
  • Awareness of own skills and ability ask senior members of staff for assistance when required
  • Follow direction from RSM, Consultant Radiographer, Clinical Specialist and senior staff members
  • Keep up to date on current techniques and developments in radiography and attend training as required
  • Actively participate in continued professional development
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations
  • Maintain a good working relationship with co-workers within the hospital
