Senior Psychologist - Eating Disorder Service & Hospital Liaison Psychiatry service

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Psychologist for a 6 month locum split position on behalf of an Eating Disorder Service as well as a hospital liaison psychiatry service, based in Dublin 4.

This role involves working within a multi-disciplinary team, and will involve significant assessments and short term therapeutic input with adults with a range of eating disorders.

The Liaison Psychiatry Service is will provide a service to ensuring that patients in a general hospital setting with mental health needs will have access to a specialist psychiatric service. This Service is provided by a multi-disciplinary Team of mental health professionals.


The Candidate:

  • A recognised qualification as a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist.
  • Candidates qualified outside the Republic of Ireland are required to hold validation of their qualifications with the Dept. of Health & Children
  • A minimum of 2 years post graduate experience as a clinical psychologist, with some experience working with patients with eating disorders.
  • Permission to work in Ireland
  • Professional approach to work
  • Flexibility in work practice 
  • Garda vetting
