I am currently recruiting for a Senior Occupational Therapist to join our Children's Disability Network Team in North Dublin City & County. The successful candidate will work as part of an inter-disciplinary team to provide specialist Occupational Therapy services to children with complex disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessment and treatment planning for children and young people with complex disabilities
- Delivering high-quality Occupational Therapy interventions, including advice and education for children, families and carers
- Working closely with other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure an integrated approach to care
- Developing and implementing treatment plans, including setting appropriate goals and objectives
- Providing clinical leadership and supervision to junior staff members
- Participating in service development and quality improvement activities
Requirements:
- BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy or equivalent
- CORU registration or eligibility to register with CORU
- Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience, with paediatrics and experience working with children with complex disabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other professionals
- Experience in clinical supervision and leadership is desirable
- Full driving license and access to a car is essential
