Senior Occupational Therapist (Band 6) – Surrey

Cpl Healthcare are currently accepting applications on behalf of our client for a number of experienced Occupational Therapists to work with an inpatient Occupational Therapy Service in East Surrey, England.

This exciting opportunity will be a Band 6 permanent rotational position with excellent rates of pay including a competitive relocation package.

Located only 15 minutes from Gatwick Airport and on the main London railway line, East Surrey hospital offers an exciting opportunity to progress your Occupational Therapy career within a well-established and dynamic inpatient therapy service with 697 beds providing acute and complex services.

The successful applicants will gain excellent experience rotating across a variety of specialty areas within an acute hospital setting, including:

  • Care of the Elderly
  • Medicine
  • Surgery
  • A&E
  • Orthopaedics trauma and elective

Each rotation will be supported by a dedicated Senior/ Team Leader Occupational Therapy colleague with a wealth of experience to help guide and support the Band 6 OT as well as ensuring the that the best standards of care are provided.

A well-established probationary, supervision and appraisal process is in place to help facilitate this. In-service training opportunities and experience will also be provided.
A relocation package will be provided.

Interested candidates must have:

  • A recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy,
  • Be eligible for registration with the Health & Care Professionals Council
  • a minimum of 18 months post-graduate experience ideally with acute / secondary care experience, placement experience will also be considered.
