Snr Physiotherapist, part-time Naas, Co. Kildare

Senior Physiotherapist required for a part-time (0.5 WTE) locum role based in a busy medical / surgical department of a busy an acute hospital, Co. Kildare. This role offers an immediate start.

Working as part of a well established physiotherapy team, the senior physiotherapist will be responsibility for the organisation, management, supervision and provision of physiotherapy services for medical and surgical inpatients with mobility impairments.

The Senior Physiotherapist will also provide evidence based physiotherapy treatments and carry a clinical caseload.

Interested candidates will be required to have experience some of all of the following area:
Excellent experience working in Acute General Hospital setting , part of which was spent in care of the elderly and also the treatment of general medical/surgical inpatients with mobility impairments.
Respiratory and Neurological experience an advantage

The Candidate:

  • A recognised qualification as a Physiotherapist with CORU registration
  • A 3 minimum of 6 months post graduate experience
  • Experience treating adults with mobility impairments
  • Permission to work in Ireland
  • Professional approach to work
  • Flexibility in work practice
  • Available to start asap
