Locum Senior Podiatrist West Cork

Locum Senior Podiatrist required providing a high quality, safe and effective service to cover West Cork Clinics for 8 Weeks in March and April 2021.

The main base will be Skibbereen with travel required to other bases in the locality.
The Senior Locum should have a B.Sc. Hons Degree from NUIG or equivalent which must have been Validated.

This Locum should have at least three years Post Graduate experience in Podiatry, preferably with some HSE experience, including proficiency in wound care and offloading techniques. The Locum should be familiar with Diabetes and associated complications as well as other High Risk Conditions and recognise when to refer to other members of the Multi-Disciplinary Team in either Community or Acute settings.

This Locum will be expected to prioritise referrals and organise waiting lists according to local Criteria and adhere to all Policies, Protocols, Guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures in place within the service. Particularly Infection Control Guidelines and Health and Safety related Policies and SOPs. They will be expected to provide High Quality care and on-going Health Education to all patients attending.
A full clean drivers licence is required.
