Social Worker  – Basic and Senior Grades considered, CAMHS, North Dublin

 Social Workers x2 required for 6 month locum assignment  with community based Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service, across a number of location in North Dublin.

The posts will involve providing a social work service as part of a multi-disciplinary child and adolescent mental health team.  The post will involve undertaking assessment and therapeutic interventions with children and young people with moderate to severe mental health needs and their families.

There are two posts available for both basic and senior grades.

Essential requirements  for a senior are:

  • A recognised qualification as a Social Worker
  • Membership of CORU
  • A minimum of 3 years post qualification experience.
  • Experience of working therapeutically with children and adolescents.

 

Desirable experience / skills:

  • Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary team, ideally a CAMHS team desirable.
  • Additional training / qualifications in therapeutic approaches to working with children and adolescents.
