Cpl Healthcare are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join a dynamic and dedicated team in North Dublin. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing psychological services to children and young people experiencing a range of complex emotional, behavioral, and mental health difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide high-quality assessment, formulation, and therapeutic intervention to children and young people referred to the service, in line with best practice and clinical guidelines.
  • To work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to develop and deliver individualized care plans for service users.
  • To provide consultation, supervision, and training to other members of the team, including trainee psychologists.
  • To maintain accurate and up-to-date records in line with service policies and procedures.
  • To participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of service policies and protocols.
  • To keep up to date with current research and evidence-based practice in the field of clinical educational psychology.
  • To participate in the development and delivery of training programmes and psychoeducation materials for parents, carers, and other professionals.
  • To adhere to the ethical and professional standards set out by the Psychological Society of Ireland and other relevant professional bodies.

Essential Requirements:

  • A recognised postgraduate qualification in Clinical Psychology.
  • Post grad experience working as a qualified psychologist in a clinical setting.
  • Eligibility for registration with the Psychological Society of Ireland.
  • Excellent clinical assessment and therapeutic skills.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of a range of psychological assessment and therapeutic models.
  • Experience working with children and young people with complex mental health difficulties.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Full driver's license and access to a car.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience working in a child and adolescent mental health service (CAMHS).
  • Training and experience in the use of specific therapeutic approaches such as CBT, DBT, or systemic therapy.
  • Experience in delivering training or psychoeducation to parents, carers, or other professionals.
