Staff Grade Dietician – City East Primary Care Centre- Doughishka, Co. Galway

Dieticians are required by Cpl Healthcare, in partnership with the HSE, for a new opportunity in City East Primary Care Centre- Doughishka, Co. Galway

Job Responsibilities:

• Dietitian would play a key function in overall assessment, treatment and education, to ensure the delivery of nutritional care that is evidence based specific to the older person and promotes optimum care and outcomes.
• Ensure professional standards are maintained in accordance with the requirements as set out by the CORU https://coru.ie/files-recognition/standards-of-proficiency-for-dietitians.pdf
• Prioritise and manage a client caseload according to the needs of the service.
• Develop, implement and monitor a plan of care, based on assessment of the service users’ nutritional needs.
• Work in a safe manner with due care and attention to the safety of self and others.
• Ensure the maintenance of appropriate records in accordance with organisational, departmental and professional requirements.
• Maintain professional standards with regard to patient and data confidentiality e.g. FOI & GDPR.

The Candidate:

• A recognised qualification as a Dietician with CORU registration
• Experience in a similar setting desirable
• Permission to work in Ireland
• Professional approach to work
