Cpl Healthcare’s Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults training is provided to both Cpl Healthcare staff and to the public.

This course is in line with Section 8 of ‘The Protection Standard of the National Quality Standards for Residential Care settings for Older People in Ireland’ as published by the Health Information Quality Authority (HIQA).

Course Content

• What constitutes a vulnerable adult
• Recognising and identifying abuse or the signs of abuse
• Identifying care practices that might lead or contribute to Elder Abuse
• Reporting Elder Abuse

All training is facilitated by one of our qualified and experienced Healthcare instructors.
