Description:

Cpl Healthcare is seeking applications for the role of Clinical Nurse Manager 2, Critical Care Unit, at a leading Cork City Hospital. This is a permanent role where the successful applicant would be joining a dynamic team and professional service within a very established hospital setting.

The successful applicant will be required to always enhance and maintain the highest standards in patient care. You will be required to contribute to the effective use of all hospital resources at your disposal and you will be required to maximise staff development in a learning environment. This will include support, motivation, and guidance for all employees within your remit.

Candidate Requirements:

  • To be on the general division of the NMBI register.
  • A minimum of 5 years post registration experience in an acute general
  • A minimum 2 year nurse management experience in an critical care setting
  • An ICU qualification is essential
  • A management qualification is essential
  • Present with excellent interpersonal, team building, strong communication and clinical skills
  • Preceptorship/teaching and assessing of students and junior staff is also essential.
