Cpl Healthcare is seeking expressions of interest/CV applications for the post of Consultant Dermatologist in a teaching Hospital in the West of Ireland.

This is a specified purpose whole-time full-time vacancy where the successful candidate will be part of a large multidisciplinary team, delivering this essential service. There is a requirement to participate in an on-call rota. The successful candidate will be required to meet the objectives of delivering high quality Consultant led Services and to manage and lead a multi-disciplinary team in the delivery of a comprehensive medical service. This role has been created as a component of delivery of the Dermatology Pathways (Pigmented Skin Lesions Pathway, Psoriasis Pathway and Acne Pathway). To enable delivery of this service, resources will be acute based and will provide greater outreach to the community. Targets have been established for each pathway and KPIs will be measured, with strong expectation that these targets are achieved.

To be considered eligible you must :

• Be registered in the relevant specialty division of the Irish Medical Council 
• Demonstrate appropriate experience and ability in providing Dermatology related services at a Consultant level
• Demonstrate evidence of effective planning and organising skills including awareness of resource management and importance of value for money
• Ability to liaise with service providers on a local and regional basis.
• Ability and experience to participate in teaching, audit and research.
• Demonstrate effective communication skills
• Demonstrate awareness and appreciation of the service users
• Demonstrate leadership and team management skills
• Display evidence based clinical knowledge in making decisions regarding client care
• Ideally have Irish or UK experience
• Have excellent English skills
• Eligible to work in Ireland
