Cpl Healthcare in collaboration with our client RCHNZ a leading Imaging provider in New Zealand are seeking skilled MRI Technologists to join their team based in New Zealand.

Role Overview: As an MRI Technologist at RCHNZ, you will play a pivotal role in delivering efficient and high-quality MRI services to our patients, referrers, and funders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct MRI procedures efficiently and accurately in accordance with company protocols.
  • Ensure all administrative processes, including patient information input, billing, and image processing, are completed accurately.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and patients, providing clear explanations of procedures and ensuring a polite and caring environment.
  • Maintain knowledge of MRI safety guidelines and procedures, adhering to all safety precautions to ensure the well-being of patients and staff.
  • Perform quality control procedures and report any issues to the Charge MRI Technologist.
  • Collaborate with the MRI team to organize workflow and support student training within the department.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Statement of Accreditation from the Australian Institute of Radiography (AU).
  • Radiation License under the Radiation Protection Act (AU).
  • AHPRA (AU).
  • MRI scope of practice with the New Zealand Medical Radiation Technologists Board or a valid exemption.
  • Sound knowledge of MRI techniques, safety guidelines, and best practices.
  • Ability to operate MRI equipment and conduct cannulations under the guidance of a radiologist.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
