CPR Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider

Duration: 8 Hours                                   

Certification: Irish Heart Foundation

This 1 day course for medical, nursing and other healthcare professionals to be a first responder in the event of an emergency.  All our trainers are fully qualified instructors with the Irish Heart foundation.

Course Content

• Adult, Paediatric and Infant Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Practice of One and Two rescuer scenarios
• Use of bag valve mask and barrier devices
• Use of Automatic External Defibrillator (AED)
• Management of Foreign Body Airway Obstruction (FBAO)
• Certification by skills testing and written evaluation
