Operational Manager - Child and Adolescent Mental Health Community Services, Guernsey
Grade: - Band 8A £67,355 - £78,366 BAR £80,716 per annum

The States of Guernsey are looking for a Operational Manager to join the team at Children and Family Community Services. The purpose of the post is to provide highly visible professional leadership to the multi-disciplinary team, including:
• Communicating the vision and objectives of the team.
• Motivating and empowering team members.
• Clinical leadership, support, guidance, and day to day management.
• The direct line management of all practitioners in CAMHS.
• An accessible presence to service users and their carers.
• Ensuring that practice is delivered safely, in accordance with the Care Quality Framework and policies and procedures.
• Developing a culture of high professional standards in the delivery of evidence-based care and treatment.
• A focus on the prompt recruitment of staff, retention, succession planning and performance management.
• Managing a devolved budget.
• Supporting the Associate Director and Clinical Director as part of the senior management team.

• Degree in a related Field
• Leadership and Management Qualification
• FULL QUALIFICATIONS (to be achieved by second gateway)
o Master’s Degree in a related field
• Evidence of ongoing continuous professional development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage conflict.
• Empathetic and caring nature
• Good team member with a proven ability to lead, motivate, inspire and support a multi-professional team.
• Experience of working in or managing multi-disciplinary teams
• Highly motivated and enthusiastic to learn and develop further.
Note:
Our client offers a full relocation package which includes interview and relocation travel, this is in addition to their competitive pay (better than the UK) and annual bonus and additional bonus scheme of £3,000, payable after two and four years’ service*.
