Person In Charge

In partnership with our client, CPL healthcare is thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a Person in Charge Role, who would be leading a committed team with clear ethos and make real impact in the community. 

Our client is a community-based service for people with severe/profound intellectual disabilities. It is a is a non-profit organisation that supports people with severe or profound intellectual and physical disabilities (wholly funded by the HSE). Our client provides community residential supports in 34 community houses in Kilkenny City and its environs. Each house has a different tenancy, ranging from a single-person tenancy up to four people sharing.

·      Competitive Salary: €52,441 - €61,241, DOE

Required Qualification:

·      A 3rd level qualification of at least Level 7 in Social Care or Applied Social Care Studies, or;

·      A Nursing qualification – in Intellectual Disability, Psychiatric, General or Children’s

·      FETAC level 6 in healthcare management

Requirements:

·      3 years’ managerial experience in a health care role

·      Proven practical experience or similar experience in a role of this level

·      Proven knowledge and experience of HIQA Standards and Certification

·      A full, clean, manual, Irish driving licence and own transportation are essential
