Band 3 £27,950 - £30,996 BAR £31,966 - £32,720 per annum  

Band 4 £31,966 - £35,828 BAR £36,899 - £37,967 per annum 

Are you interested in a career in Guernsey within the Adult Disability Team providing support to service users?

The Adult Disability Service in Guernsey support people with learning disabilities and autism in a variety of settings. These include residential homes, supported living, outreach and day services. As a support worker, depending on your skills and knowledge, you may be based in any one of these teams.

Your day will involve helping people live an ordinary life in their community, supporting personal care, promoting independent living skills and providing emotional support using an active support model. 

No initial qualifications are needed to apply for this role. However, there are opportunities to complete either NVQ level 3 or BTEC in Positive Behaviour Support which will be discussed on your yearly appraisal.

Requirements:

• Authorisation to live and work in Guernsey

• Recent relevant work experience
