Clinical Nurse Manager - Oncology Inpatient

Cpl Healthcare invites applications for the position of Clinical Nurse Manager 1 for the Oncology Inpatient Unit at a leading hospital in Cork City.

About the Hospital: Join a dynamic team within a well-established hospital that offers comprehensive cancer services to a large regional catchment area. The hospital covers diagnosis, staging, and all aspects of cancer treatment, including an active clinical trials unit with international and investigator-initiated studies. The medical oncologists and haematologists have extensive training both in Ireland and at globally recognized cancer centers. The dedicated teams include nurses across inpatient and day wards, along with Clinical Nurse Specialists in palliative care, oncology liaison, triage, and clinical trials.

Key Responsibilities:

·      Lead and manage the Oncology Inpatient Unit, ensuring high-quality patient care.

·      Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive cancer treatment.

·      Oversee clinical trials unit activities and support clinical research initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements:

·      Registered in the General Division of the live register of nurses maintained by the NMBI.

·      Minimum of 3 years of experience as a staff nurse in an acute general hospital.

·      Relevant course in Oncology nursing or equivalent is essential.

·      Management qualification is desirable.

·      Flexibility for shift work.
