Basic Life Support

Duration: 6 Hours                               Certification: Irish Heart Foundation

Cpl Healthcare’s BLS training is provided to both Cpl Healthcare staff and to external candidates in the medical, para-medical, healthcare and allied healthcare industries.

This is an accredited course by the Irish Heart Foundation (IHF).

Course Content

• Adult, Paediatric and Infant Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Practice of One and Two rescuer scenarios
• Use of bag valve mask and barrier devices
• Use of Automatic External Defibrillator (AED)
• Management of Foreign Body Airway Obstruction (FBAO)
• Certification by skills testing and written evaluation

All training is facilitated by one of our fully qualified and experienced Irish Heart Foundation instructors
