The Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) will be expected to work within the 12 bedded Emergency Department that treats all emergency attendances across the Bailiwick of Guernsey. The department comprises of 6 majors bays, 1 paediatric bay, 2 resuscitation bay, eye room, triage room and minor assessment room. All patients are assessed and cared for by a team of specialist doctors and nurses that treat approximately 23,000 patients a year. The department manages the care and wellbeing needs for both adults and children.

Management Qualification Royal College of Emergency Medicine Advanced Clinical Practitioner Credentialing as Associate Member
DESIRABLE: Postgraduate Management qualification (or advanced clinical skills qualification).
Please note; Guernsey has adopted the AfC banding system, but have applied their own salary scale. The Guernsey Band 7 salary range from 1st Jan is £52,932 to £69,605 plus an annual bonus of £1,605 higher penalty rates; 36% evening/Saturday and 72% Sunday/BH.
Annual leave starts at 36 days up to 42 days with full credit for NHS service for annual leave and sick leave.
