Registered General Nurses required for Medical/Surgical Ward in Guernsey, Channel Islands.

Full Time

Grade: Band 5 £36,899 - £42,779 BAR £43,954 - £47,590 per annum, plus Special Duty Payments of 36% and 72% for working unsociable hours.

Selection Criteria: 

Essential:

·      Current first level registration with the NMC

Desirable

·      Completed an approved mentor course at level 2 or equivalent.

·      Competence in intravenous drug administration.

·      Portfolio of evidence to meet KSF agreed criteria.

·      Experience co-ordinating ward activities, delegating appropriately.

·      Evidence of effective communication skills; with reference to Multidisciplinary team

·      working, service users, carers, and managers.

·      Ability to prioritise and organise own workload.

·      Understanding and ability to apply evidence-based care.

·      Evidence of self and professional development.

·      Professional approach to work.

·      Maintains high professional and personal standards.

·      Maintains patient confidentiality.

·      Enthusiastic.

·      Motivated.

·      Positive attitude.

Note:

Our client offers a full relocation package which includes interview and relocation travel, this is in addition to their competitive pay (better than the UK) and annual bonus and additional bonus scheme of £3,000, payable after two and four years’ service*.
